Tom Collins 2

The first Tom Collins recipe was written by the father of modern cocktail making, Jerry Thomas. It’s a simple mix of gin, lemon and sugar syrup, shaken over ice.

Ingredients:
2 oz London dry gin
1 oz Fresh lemon juice
1⁄2 oz Simple syrup
Club soda, to top

Garnish:
Lemon wheel
Maraschino cherry

Glass:
Highball
